However, only those with 20% can simultaneously reduce their dietary intake and exercise at least 150 minutes a week. The most common difficulty in losing weight and maintaining obesity is that our energy expenditure will decrease with weight loss. Studies have pointed out that when we maintain a weight below the baseline body weight of 10%, energy expenditure will decrease by approximately 8 kcal\/kg.
