We should prepare for cancer earlier

Perhaps we cannot cure cancer yet, or perhaps medicine has its limits;
But at least we now can think more about us in the future.

Prevention is better than cure

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) under the World Health Organization (WHO) regularly conducts analysis and research on various potential carcinogens and compiles them into a classification table of human carcinogens, which is divided into 4 levels, and 2 levels are further divided into 2A and 2B:

Grade 1 (identified as a carcinogen)

Significance: The epidemiological evidence that this substance is a human carcinogen is sufficient.

Grade 2A (very likely to be a carcinogen)

Significance: The epidemiological evidence that this substance is a human carcinogen is limited or insufficient, but the animal experiment evidence is sufficient.

Level 2B (May be a carcinogen)

Significance: The epidemiological evidence that this substance is a human carcinogen is limited, and the animal experiment evidence is limited or insufficient.

3 class(Cannot be classified as a carcinogen)

Significance: The epidemiological evidence that the substance is a human carcinogen is insufficient, and the animal experiment evidence is also insufficient, or it cannot be classified into other categories.

4 class(Most likely a non-carcinogenic factor)

Significance: The substance lacks carcinogenicity to humans and animals; or there is insufficient epidemiological evidence and lack of animal carcinogenicity.

Due to the variety of projects, the author first lists the level 1 carcinogens in the table below. Perhaps too complex chemicals we cannot identify and avoid in daily life, but some carcinogen exposures can be reduced by lifestyle and eating habits ! A detailed introduction will be added in new articles in the future!
